Philadelphia-born designer Jenna Leigh Blatstein attended school at the University of Miami. While studying abroad in London, she fell in love with the high-end lingerie brands she found there and started to think, “Why can’t American women have lingerie like this?” And the rest was history: “I started forming my vision: to have a fashion-forward lingerie brand that is popular in America for the fashion-conscious girl.”
In 2009, the precocious young designer launched her lingerie line, Jenna Leigh, at the age of 23. Her fashion-forward designs instantly caught the attention of major press and were seen on celebrities such as Mariah Carey, Kate Upton, Leighton Meester of Gossip Girls and Kim Kardashian. In 2012, Jenna Leigh opened her first stand-alone boutique in Atlantic City, New Jersey, near the shore where she had spent every summer since childhood.
